Years ago my life was a MESS! My dysfunctions had just about ruined my relationships with my children and had put so much strain on my marriage that we were on the verge of our 2nd divorce. I had no real friends and was miserable. In that very dark time, I (and my wife) began our own counseling journey. It was not an easy path. I had to begin to face the reality of my situation and try to find a godly response. As I began the journey towards healing, the tools and encouragements that I received were paramount to my process. The new life that I was discovering was astonishing. The more freedom I experienced, the more I desired. The work saved my marriage and helped reestablish deeper relationships with my children and now grandchildren. 2 Corinthians 1:4 tells us that since He comforts us in all of our afflictions, we will be able to comfort others in all of theirs. Reviving Hope Ministries was born from that desire. I became a pastoral counselor not because I have it all figured out and can now tell you how to fix your life, but rather because the mercy that was shown to me is the same I want to share with others.
